   My new song called “Grow.”  I decided I was going to experiment and take myself out of my comfort zone - I tried to base it more on the lyrics and music itself which more indicative of a poetry style, if you will.   This is a very rough version, that I put together in like 30 minutes.  I’m striving to let my voice be truer and truer to who I am.

   Lyrics

   the seed rests deep

   in the ground

   waiting for the rain

   so it will be unbound

   .

   the flower rises softly

   sun comes down

   it speaks slowly

   with so much wisdom

   .

   we raise the dignity

   then prune it down

   let them be free

   all have equal sound

   .

   grow

   i will love you

   wrap my rays around too

   shine bright red
